MEET THE SQUASH SQUARED TEAM

Stacey Ross

Co-Founder

Stacey is Director of Squash at The Wimbledon Club, co founder of Squash Squared and the former Head of Squash at Kings College School Wimbledon. Stacey is Progamme Director at Squash Squared and regular coach to the children along with Jordan Warne. 

As a junior player, Stacey won numerous British Open and Closed titles and as a senior player played the PSA World Tour for 8 years, reaching a senior ranking of World No. 39. On tour he experienced first hand many of the US Urban Squash Programmes and was compelled to set up such a programme in the UK.

Paul Thomas

Trustee

Paul has worked for Croydon Local Authority in the role of School Organisation and Pupil Place Planning Coordinator since September 2022. Prior to this position he worked for 34 years in primary schools throughout Croydon and Southwark, the last 17 of those as a headteacher of three schools.

Paul led the formation of both the Southwark Schools Sports Partnership and the Croydon Schools Sports Partnership and was Croydon’s Headteacher Ambassador at the Youth Sports Trust.

“I believe that sport can and should play an important role in every child’s life, supporting both their mental and physical development and health. As a leader I have always ensured that Physical Education and the opportunities to play a variety of sports were a key component of our offer. I hope my experience of leading schools and involvement in school sport over a 35 year period can add some value to the Board of Trustees at Squash Squared” .

Paul is currently vice-chair of the Croydon Schools Football Association, organising all primary school competitions involving 60 schools.

Will Saville

Chairman

Will is the co-founder of Unily, a market leader in employee experience software where he successfully served as CEO for many years.

Away from the workplace Will is an enthusiastic squash and padel player, actively participating in the Surrey Cup Competition for Oxshott Squash Club.

Having recently concluded his time as Unily’s CEO, Will has embarked on a new chapter, one that revolves around community initiatives aimed at making a meaningful impact on others’ lives. In addition leading Squash Squared Will’s latest endeavour involves revitalising Sandown Sports, one of Surrey’s oldest squash clubs and activity centres.

Mark Ridler

Treasurer

Mark is a trained accountant working as a CFO for a large Media company based out of London.

He has been playing squash around the UK for the past 45 years with his enthusiasm definitely exceeding his ability. He currently captains The Wimbledon Club’s Surrey 5th team and their Vet’s third team and is normally available for a beer after a game on a Tuesday and Thursday.

He is also the Treasurer for the TWC’s Squash Section.

Justine Cherry-Macklin

Trustee

Justine is an active volunteer for King’s College School, Marymount International School, and Convent of the Sacred Heart. 

She has an international background, with education from the US and Paris, as well as living in Doha for 6 years. She is now living in London with her family.

Professionally she has worked in Development Management roles and has a keen interest in physical fitness, nutrition/cooking and reading.

Daryl Selby

Trustee

Daryl is a former professional squash player, reaching a highest world ranking of No.9, British Number 1 and silver & bronze Commonwealth Games medallist.

He is now a Senior Talent Manager at Next Level Talent. Working with online content creators across multiple social media platforms.

He is also Managing Director of Dynamic 7 Sport, managing professional athletes across multiple sports.
